Play5aside.com specialise in the operation of 5-a-side football leagues across the UK.
We have years of experience in organising community leagues and we cater for all abilities with different divisions for different standards of teams.
We organise FA affiliated leagues for communities to enjoy, we provide all the equipment and only use FA qualified referees.
We only use top of the range footballs as we believe this is extremely important to our teams and players.
Leagues are updated on our website the day after they take place and teams can view league tables, fixtures, latest news, league information and match reports online. Our website is updated daily by our members of staff.
Match reports are compiled every week for teams to view on the website and they are also published weekly in the local papers along with league tables.
Play5aside.com leagues are supported by England non-league Captain and Morecambe star Craig Stanley.
Stanley is well aware of the benefits of playing small-sided football and was happy to agree to support the Play5aside leagues across the UK when he was approached. He said, "I grew up playing quite a lot of 5-a-side football and there is no doubt that it helped to improve my touch, passing and movement off the ball. You get so many more touches of the ball in small-sided matches compared to 11-a-side so it's definitely a good way of improving your fitness and overall game. Play5aside are encouraging people of all ages into regular exercise by organising exciting weekly leagues and that has to be applauded."
"I know that a lot of hard work and careful organisation goes into arranging these leagues every week and it's great that so many people are getting involved. If companies like Play5aside can help to get people out of their armchairs and into regular exercise then it has to be a good thing."
Stanley has played for Coventry City, Walsall and Hereford but is now at Morecambe and was involved in last seasons play-off victory at Wembley which saw the Shrimps promoted to League 2. He has also represented his country, Captaining the England Non-League side to victory over Holland in the inaugural European Challenge Trophy last season.
